2008 Awards

On December 6, 2008 we held our Christmas Party at station 23. There were near 100 people in attendance. The food was great as usual. There was one surprise that the kids loved. Santa Claus came to see the kids and handed out presents to them. We would like to thank Firefighter Josh Heflin for his exhausting time and effort he put into making the video for this year for us to watch.  Great Job as always. Along with the party came the annual awards presentation.  The following members received these awards.

 

Firefighter of the Year – Joel Watson, Rookie Firefighter - Zack Hyatt and Corey Wilson, Most Advance Firefighter - Dexter Gonzalez, Junior Firefighter of the Year – Brittany Spencer and Officer of the Year – Al Spencer 

Top Ten Calls for Firefighter - Recil Williamson, Steve Barr, George Lamb, Alan Garner, Terry Rich, Corey Wilson, Scotty Kidd, Al Spencer, Zack Hyatt and Dexter Gonzalez.

 Top Ten Training Hours for Firefighter- Dexter Gonzalez, George Lamb, Alan Garner, Nicole Barr, Joel Watson, Josh Heflin, Steve Barr, Pam Campbell, Clay Jones and Recil Williamson.
